'Have some plans': New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern on her wedding
Welington/IBNS: After registering a thumping victory in the elections, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has revealed she might get wedded to her partner Clarke Gayford soon.
Interacting with reporters, Ardern said, "Yes, I can tell you that we have some plans.. they are some way off. We might need to see some of our family and friends before we do that more widely."
"I can tell you that it will not be in Parliament," she joked with a smile on her face.
Ardern, 40, is engaged to television presenter Gayford.
She was the second government head in the world to give birth to a baby while in office.
The PM became the mother of a girl child in 2018.
Riding on the successful tackling of Covid-19 pandemic, Ardern-led centre-left Labour Party was re-elected last month with a thumping majority of 49.1% of the total votes.
With 64 off 120 seats, the Labour Party was the first ever to win a majority since 1996, when the new political system was introduced.
