Beijing: A Chinese passenger plane, which was carrying 132 passengers, crashed in a mountainous area of southern China, media reports said on Monday.
The Boeing 737 of China Eastern Airlines, which flew from Kunming to Guangzhou, crashed in Tengxian County in the city of Wuzhou, triggering a mountain fire, reported Xinhua news agency.
The 132 people included 123 passengers and nine crew members, the Civil Aviation Administration of China said.
The exact casualty figure is still not known.
