Brazil's Senate removes President Dilma Rousseff from office
The impeachment move by the Senate will end 13 years of leftist rule in the Latin American country.
According to reports, Senators voted 61-20 to impeach Rousseff over allegations of illegally using money from state banks to boost public spending.
Michel Temer, the former vice president who has been running the President's Office since Rousseff’s suspension in May, will be sworn in to the post on Wednesday.
He will serve the office for the remainder of the presidential term through 2018.
