Samsung offices raided by South Korean prosecutors

Seoul, Nov 8 (IBNS): South Korean prosecutors on Tuesday raided several Samsung offices in the country, a BBC report said.

The company has confirmed the development, the source reported.

The raid was in connection with the political scandal involving the South Korean President Park Geun-hye.

The prosecutors are investigation the alleged involvement of the company, where they gave money to Choi Soon-sil, a close aid of Park Geun-hye.

Choi was arrested on Nov 3.

Charges against her included fraud and abuse of power.
