Afghanistan, EU ink new bond

Kabul, Feb 20 (IBNS): In a move to bolster development in various sectors, Afghanistan has signed a new bond with the European Union, local Khaama Press said.

The bond was signed by Afghan Finance Minister Eklil Hakimi and Federica Mogherini, the present High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

The pact covers issues like health, education, development, law enforcement, agriculture, science and technology, money laundering and fight against corruption.

The EU will also support the south Asian nation in battling terrorism and curb funding into terrorist activities.
