US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson meets Pakistan PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi

Islamabad, Oct 24 (IBNS): US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson met Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi here on Tuesday.

Rex Tillerson arrived in Islamabad earlier in the day.

The meeting between the PM and the US leader was also attended by  Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, DG ISI Lt General Naveed Mukhtar, Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif, Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal and Defence Minister Khurram Dastagir.

Matters of mutual interest, including the war on terror, are under discussion in the meeting, reported Geo News. 

US Embassy Islamabad earlier tweeted: " Secretary of State Rex Tillerson arrives in Islamabad to discuss continued bilateral cooperation and partnership #USPak."
