Afghanistan: Landmine blast kills seven civilians

Kabul, Dec 24 (IBNS): A landmine blast in Afghanistan's Marja district of southern Helmand province left at least seven civilians killed on Sunday, media reports said.

Kamran, a resident of the district, told Pajhwok Afghan News the explosion took place at around 9am when a coaster struck a roadside bomb in the Treekh Nawar area of the district.

The bodies of the deceased have been taken to hospital.
