Kabul: Market fire still on, firefighters continue battle to bring blaze under control

Kabul, Nov 2 (IBNS): A fire broke out at a marketplace in Afghanistan's capital city Kabul on Thursday, media reports said.

Firefighters are still battling to bring the flames under control.

The fire erupted in Khairkhwa market in Nader Pashtun Kot at 6: 08pm on Thursday, reports said.

Kabul fire department head Col. Amir Shah told Pajhwok Afghan News 15 fire-fighting vehicles had been sent to the area to extinguish the fire.

No casualty has been reported so far.
