Kabul, Nov 7 (IBNS): A Taliban attack in western Farah province of Afghanistan left at least seven police personnel, who were manning a check-post, killed, media reports said on Wednesday.

Dadullah Qaneh, a member of provincial council, told Pajhwok Afghan News the militants attacked a security check-post in Dehyak locality of Farah City, the provincial capital late on Tuesday night.

The attackers took away all the arms and ammunition from the post.

Taliban claimed capturing the check-post and said more than seven policemen were killed in the clash, reported the Afghanistan-based news agency.
