Afghanistan: Man's body recovered with Taliban letter attached to his body
Kabul, Nov 16 (IBNS): Taliban gunmen pulled out a man from a passenger vehicle in Afghanistan's Khashrud district and shot him dead, media reports said.
Haji Jalil Watandost told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place on the Dilaram-Khashrud highway two days ago in the limits of the Kashrud district.
The body of the man was found on Thursday with a Taliban letter attached to his body.
In the letter, the Taliban said the slain person, Mehrullah, son of Sher Mohamad, was a resident of Faizabad district of northern Jawzjan province and was an uprising commander of Qashlaq Gul base, reported the Afghanistan-based news agency.
The Taliban has not commented on the issue so far.
