Afghanistan: Market fire brought under control
Kabul, May 13 (IBNS): A market in Afghanistan's Kabul city on Monday caught fire, media reports said.
Shopkeepers reportedly put the fire under control before it could cause any damage.
The Mandawi Bazar houses several shops.
Circumstance surrounding the outbreak of the fire has not been ascertained so far but similar incidents have taken place in the past due to electric short circuit and gas cylinder explosion, reported Khaama Press.
Mandawi is considered as one of the oldest markets in Afghanistan.
