10 killed in Afghanistan militant attack

Kabul, Dec 17 (IBNS): At least 10 people, including four militants, were killed as terrorists stormed into the New Kabul Bank branch in Afghanistan's Lashkargah area on Wednesday, media reports said.

According to reports, two suicide bombers blew themselves up and the rest were gunned down by security forces.


Eight people, including two policemen, were injured during the firefighting between the militants and security forces.

Haji Ayub, the bank manager,  told Pajhwok Afghan News that a number of customers and bank employees were among the casualties.
