Afghanistan: 9 ISIS members, originally hailing from Pakistan, killed
Kabul, July 23 (IBNS): The public uprising forces killed nine Islamic State members in Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province during a clash, media reports said on Tuesday.
The Provincial Government’s media office in a statement said the public uprising forces clashed with ISIS militants in Bandar area of Achin district on Monday night, reported Khaama Press.
The statement further added that the public uprising forces killed 9 ISIS militants hailing from Pakistan, reported the Afghanistan-based news agency.
According to media reports, the terrorists belonged to Bajaur and Orakzai areas of Pakistan.
The ISIS terror group has not commented on the issue so far.
