Kabul, Sept 16 (IBNS): An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast in Afghanistan's Farah province on Monday killed at least five people including a woman, media reports said on Monday.
The Provincial Police Headquarters said in a statement that the explosion targeted a civilian vehicle in the outskirts of Farah city on Sunday, Khaama Press reported.
The statement further added that the Taliban militants had planted the IED in Kariz Sheikhan Village, reported the Afghanistan-based news agency.
The Taliban group did not comment on the issue so far.
