Afghanistan: Blast at President Ghani campaign rally kills 24

Kabul, Sept 17 (IBNS): At least 24 people were killed as a blast rocked a campaign rally in the city of Charikar in Afghanistan which was being addressed by country's President Ashraf Ghani, media reports said.

According to reports, the incident occurred when the President started to address the rally, local media reports said.

The incident left 30 others injured.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the blast, reported Tolo News.
