Nepal: Brazilian national arrested with cocaine from Tribhuvan International Airport
Kathmandu/IBNS: The Narcotics Control Bureau with the support of Airport Customs Office in Nepal arrested a Brazilian national with 2.1 kilograms cocaine from capital city Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport on Wednesday, media reports said.
Sergio Truh, 61, (passport number XY 75937) of Brazil, an alleged suspect associated with a transnational drug racket, was taken into custody from Tribhuvan International Airport today, reported The Himalayan Times.
Police told the newspaper that Truh, who arrived in Nepal on a Qatar Airways flight, intended to smuggle the drug to India.
Police have started investigating into the incident.
