Imran Khan, wife visit Peshawar school, face protest
Protesting parents were seen holding placards against Khan and his wife and even shouting slogans like "Go Imran Go".
"Holding posters and banners, the protesters tried to stop Khan's vehicle from entering and complained that the provincial government did not show any concern regarding the school attack. The demonstrators also lamented that it took Khan a month to come to Peshawar and speak to the students after the deadly school massacre," Dawn News reported.
Khan later tweeted: "I went to motivate & raise morale of the APS students; instead, their passion & fearlessness ended up motivating me."
Less than a month after militants had killed at least 150 people ,including school students, the Army Public School (APS) reopened with children attired in their uniforms returning to their classrooms on Monday.
