Afghanistan: Key Taliban leader killed in airstrike
Kabul: Afghanistan's Ministry of Defence on Saturday said the deputy head of the Taliban military commission for Helmand province has been killed during airstrike.
Mullah Amanullah, deputy of the Taliban’s military commission for Helmand Prov. was killed with 8 of his fighters, yesterday in an airstrike. #AAF targeted them in Nawa district. A large amount of their weapons and ammunitions were also destroyed.

The Ministry said Mullah Amanullah, deputy of the Taliban’s military commission for Helmand Province, and eight other Taliban terrorists were killed in the incident.
A large amount of weapons and ammunition were also destroyed during the airstrike.
8 Taliban, including the deputy of Taliban's military commission for Helmand Prov. were killed after AAF attacked a group of Taliban in Nawa district today while they were planning to attack ANDSF positions. Also, large amount of their weapons and ammunitions were destroyed.

The Taliban did not comment on the incident so far, as per local media reports.
