Afghanistan: Security forces free 28 civilians from Taliban prison
Kabul: Afghanistan commandoes have freed 28 civilians from Taliban prison in Helmand province, media reports said.
Afghan commandos rescued in a rescue operation freed at least 28 Afghan civilians from a Taliban prison in Helmand province, reports Khaama Press.
According to media reports, the operation was conducted on Monday in Musa Qala district of the province.
Afghan commandos during the operation also killed six Taliban members, reports Khaama Press.
Several weapons belonging to the group were also recovered by security forces.
