Afghanistan: Women demonstrate in Mazar-e-sharif, demand their representation in Taliban govt
Mazar-e-sharif: A group of women on Monday demonstrated in Afghanistan's Mazar-e-sharif city and demanded for their participation at all levels of the incoming government, media reports said.
The protesters said the new government will be senseless without women.
The Taliban though have not said anything about the compulsory wearing of CHADARI-a traditional blue color garment covering the whole body-, the protesters said that they are not wearing one, reports Khaama Press.
The Taliban took control of Afghanistan on Aug 15.
Protests have been taking place in different corners of Afghanistan since then.
