Rocket attacks kill 3 in Afghanistan

Kabul, June 1 (IBNS) At least three people were killed as a rocket landed on residential areas in southern Afghanistan, media reports said on Monday.

The incident also left five others injured.

"Officials in southern Kandahar province say that a rocket landed in Surkh Abad area of Ghorak District around 08:00 am this morning leaving two civilians killed and another wounded," Khaama Press reported.

Another woman was killed as a rocket landed in Helmand province of the country.
