Pakistan: Militants kill engineers in airport

Quetta, Aug 30 (IBNS) Militants killed at least two engineers in Jiwani aiport at Gwadar district in Pakistan on Sunday, media reports said.

Police sources told DawnNews unknown miscreants opened fire at the airport and killed electronics superintendent identified as Khalilullah during the attack.

Another engineer, who was identified as Mehmudullah Niazi , was kidanpped by the militants. His body was later recovered, reports said.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.

Security officials have started investigating into the matter.
