Sandeep Mawa, a Kashmiri Pandit, distributed the  Iftaar Kits during the event.

Mawa is currently the Chairman of the  Jammu and Kashmir Reconciliation Front.

He emphasised the need for such initiatives to continue bridging divides and promoting peace in the region.

A local named  Sahil told KNO: "This Street Iftaar is a beautiful gesture that brings our community closer together. It shows that regardless of our backgrounds, we can come together in the spirit of compassion and brotherhood.”
