Clashes between Afghanistan, Pakistan military along Durand Line leaves five dead
At least five people died after Islamic Emirate forces and Pakistani military clashed along Durand Line in Afghanistan's Paktia region recently.
The clashes reportedly left five people hurt.
The clashes forced some people who were staying close to the borders to leave their homes.
Hamidullah, a family member of the victims, told Tolo News: "It has been three days that shells are being fired from Pakistan to this side. We had guests in our house, and as a result of the shelling, one of our guests was also injured."
Zahir, a displaced person, told the news portal: "The war between the Taliban and Pakistan is ongoing, and we have taken shelter elsewhere. We are moving from here."
Locals claimed rockets fired from Pakistan not only caused casualty but also financial losses.
Jumma Gul, a resident of Paktia, told Tolo News: "For three days now, shells have been fired from Pakistan, displacing people and causing deaths."
