Pakistan: 11 miners die due to suffocation inside coal mine in Balochistan
At least 11 miners died of suffocation inside a coal mine in Pakistan's Sanjdi region on Monday.
Chief Mines Inspector Abdul Ghani Baloch told The Nation that the accident occurred due to a gas leak, resulting in the deaths of 11 people.
“The deceased included nine miners, a contractor, and a mine manager," he said adding that the deceased hailed from of Swat.
The bodies will be sent to their hometown.
The coalmine was located around 50km from Quetta.
