The missing students were identified as  Sohail Baloch and Faseih Baloch.

The rally saw the participation of a large number of students, political workers, human rights activists and members of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC).

BYC leaders, including Dr Mahrang Baloch, Seemi Din, Bibo Baloch, Dr Sabiha Baloch and Bebarg Baloch, joined the demonstrators when the rally reached Quetta Press Club.

During the protest, demonstrators were seen holding placards, posters of the missing persons, and banners inscribed with their demands, and chanted slogans against the government.
