Afghanistan: 10 policemen killed

Kabul, Jan 26 (IBNS) At least 10 policemen were killed at a check-post in central Uruzgan province of Afghanistan, media reports said on Tuesday.

Taliban militant group is suspected to be behind the killing of the policemen.

The incident took place in Chinartu district on Monday night, the town’s administrative chief, Malem Faiz Mohammad, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

He told the news agency that the insurgents, aided by a Taliban-linked policeman, killed the 10 security personnel
