Islamabad, Apr 19 (IBNS) The Pakistan government on Tuesday 'strongly condemns' the terrorist attack in Afghanistan capital Kabul.

"We extend our heartfelt sympathies and condolences to those who have lost their loved ones and pray for an early recovery of the injured," Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

"The Government of Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and expresses solidarity with the Government and brotherly people of Afghanistan in their hour of grief and struggle against terrorism," it said.

At least 28 people died in a coordinated attack on the VIPs protection unit in Kabul.

Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
