Rights activist Khurram Zaki shot dead in Pakistan

Karachi, May 8 (IBNS) Civil society activist Khurram Zaki was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Pakistan's Karachi city on Saturday, media reports said.

The incident left two others injured.

According to the police, Zaki was sitting  at an outdoor restaurant in Sector 11-G of North Karachi  when attackers attacked him.

"Zaki was sitting at a cafe where he was targeted by four armed men arriving on two motorcycles," Muqadas Haider, a senior police official was quoted as saying by Geo News.

The injured people were taken to hospital for treatment.
