Bangladesh: Buddhist monk hacked to death in Bandarban
Dhaka, May 14 (IBNS) A 75-year old Buddhist monk was hacked to death in Naikkhangchhari upazila of Bandarban, Bangladesh, on Saturday morning, reports said.
The corpse was found in Baishari Bihar at Uppar Chak Para village, near the upazila, Daily Star reported.
The victim, identified as Mong Shwe U Chak, lived there all alone, reports said.
The motive is yet to be determined, police officials were quoted as saying by reports.
