Pakistan: 2 policemen killed in firing

Peshawar, July 10 (IBNS): At least two policemen were killed in a firing incident in Pakistan's Peshawar city on Thursday, media reports said.

" According to police, a police mobile was on routine patrol when it was fired upon by unknown motorcyclists near Waheed checkpoint. Subsequently, three policemen sustained severe injuries," Dawn News reported.

One of the attacker was killed when the police resorted to retaliatory firing.

The other attacker, however, escaped from the spot, reports said.
