Pakistan: Militants attack Christian Colony, 1 civilian killed

Peshawar, Sept 2 (IBNS): At least one civilian was killed during exchange of fire between militants and security forces in Peshawar's Christian Colony area in Pakistan on Friday, media reports said.

Two attackers have also been killed, reports said.

Firing reportedly began around 6am, when five to six terrorists attacked the colony, security sources told DawnNews.

The gunmen are reportedly wearing suicide jackets, sources told the news paper.
