New York, Sept 19 (IBNS): In his first appearance at the UN General Assembly as the President, Donald Trump warned North Korea that the US will be forced to"totally destroy" the Asian nation if it did not back down from its nuclear standoff.

Trump said: "We will have no choice than to totally destroy North Korea."

Trump called North Korean leader Kim Jong Un as the 'rocket man'.

Trump said Un is on a 'suicide mission for himself and his regime'.

He said: "We will fight together, sacrifice together, and stand together—for peace."

Trump said his nation aspires to achieve only 'harmony and friendship', not conflict and strife.

"This is our hope for the diverse nations of the world. We want harmony and friendship, not conflict and strife," he said.
