Ankara, Oct 9 (IBNS): The United States of America has suspended all regular visa services in Turkey after the arrest of one of its staffers in the national capital, media reports said.

The announcement has increased the tension between the two nations.

"Effective immediately, we have suspended all non-immigrant visa services at all US diplomatic facilities in Turkey," an official statement from the US read.

Non-immigrant visas are issued by the US authorities to those travelling to the countries for holiday, medical treatment, temporary work, education.
