California wildfires: Nine killed, 250000 flee from homes
California, Nov 10 (IBNS): A destructive fire hit north and south California and left at least nine people killed, media reports said on Saturday.
"More than 250,000 people have been forced to flee their homes to avoid three major blazes in the state," BBC reported.
Reacting to the wildfire incident, US President Donald Trump has blamed gross mismanagement of the forests and warned of funding cuts.
"There is no reason for these massive, deadly and costly forest fires in California except that forest management is so poor. Billions of dollars are given each year, with so many lives lost, all because of gross mismanagement of the forests. Remedy now, or no more Fed payments!" Trump tweeted.
