Donald Trump condemns Texas shooting, pledges full support to Guv
Washington, Aug 4 (IBNS/UNI): US President Donald Trump has condemned the Texas shooting in which 20 people were killed and 26 others injured on Saturday and called it an act of 'cowardice'.
He has pledged support to the Federal Government.
In a tweet, Trump said: "Terrible shootings in El Paso, Texas. Reports are very bad, many killed. Working with State and Local authorities, and Law Enforcement. Spoke to Governor to pledge total support of Federal Government. God be with you all!"

"Today’s shooting in El Paso, Texas, was not only tragic, it was an act of cowardice. I know that I stand with everyone in this Country to condemn today’s hateful act. There are no reasons or excuses that will ever justify killing innocent people," Trump said in another tweet.

Governor Greg Abbott termed the shooting in the Texas border city as 'one of the most deadly days in the history of Texas'.
The suspect, who was identified as Patrick Crusius from Allen Texas, a suburb of Dallas more than 650 miles away, now in custody, according to Texas Police Chief Greg Allen.
According to local media reports, the FBI has opened a domestic terror investigation into the mass shooting.
According to the authorities, the store was packed with as many as 3,000 people caused by a busy back-to-school shopping season when the shooting began.
