Donald Trump's joint fundraising committee has started selling merchandise goods, which contains the mugshot photo of Donald Trump, a move made shortly after the former President was arrested on racketeering and conspiracy charges in relation to his effort to overturn the 2020 election in the state of Georgia.

The Trump Save America Joint Fundraising Committee is selling T-shirts, mugs, beverage coolers, bumper stickers and other merchandise with Trump's face and the words 'never surrender', reports CBS News.

The mug shot products range from $12 for a bumper sticker to $36 for long-sleeve T-shirts, the news channel reported.

“Breaking news: the mugshot is here” reads the subject line of the campaign’s latest fundraising email, which advertises a new T-shirt featuring the image, reports Deadline.

Promoting the products, Donald Trump Jr. posted on X: "Free Trump Merch! To be clear all profits from this on my Web Store are going to be donated to the Legal Defense Fund to fight the tyranny & insanity we’re seeing before us. Unlike many, I won’t try to profit from this but will do what I can to help."

In a major move, former US President had to pay a bail bond of $200,000 (£157,000) to be released from the Atlanta jail while he awaits trial.

Trump became the first former US president to have his mugshot taken.

The photo was released following his surrender in Georgia.

The image has gone viral on social media.

Trump himself returned to X platform following the developments and wrote: "Election interference. Never surrender!"
