Afghanistan: Police arrest six robbers

Kabul, Mar 13 (IBNS): Police have arrested six alleged robbers from western Ghor and Herat provinces of Afghanistan, media reports said on Tuesday.

Ghor police spokesman Iqbal Nizami told Pajhwok Afghan News that two robbers were arrested in Ghalmin locality of Firozkoh city, the provincial capital, early on Tuesday morning.

He said locals were concerned over the increased number of motor bikes theft in the area.

Conducting investigation, police said they arrested two thieves from the area with stolen motor bikes.

Abdul Ahad, Herat police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News of the country that police had arrested four robbers accused stealing gold and other materials.
