Afghanistan: Rocket explosion kills three in eastern Nangarhar province
Kabul, Apr 29 (IBNS): At least three people were killed as a rocket exploded in Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province on Sunday, media reports said.
Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the rocket had been fired by Taliban sometime back but remained unexploded.
The incident reportedly left eight others injured.
Two women and a child were reportedly among the deceased.
The injured people were rushed to hospital for treatment, reports said.
The Taliban has not commented on the incident so far.
