Canada: A Dutch court clears repatriation of Amanda’s cyberbully to Canada

Toronto, Apr 4 (IBNS): A Dutch court has convicted a cyberbully and sentenced him to nearly 11 years in prison for cyberbullying dozens of young girls and gay men., media reports said.

In Canada, Aydin Coban, 38, a convicted cyberbully has been charged for cyberbullying Amanda Todd, a 15-year old B.C. teen who killed herself after being subjected to online bullying, CBCNews reports said.

This incident of online abusing had drawn global attention.

Following Tuesday's ruling the Dutch Supreme Court had approved the repatriation of Coban to Canada.

His repatriation to pending subject to approved by the Dutch security and justice minister.

His lawyer did not respond immediately to an email asking for his comment.
