Canada: McDonald's served cleansing solution to pregnant woman
Lethbridge, Aug 2 (IBNS): In a shocking incident, a pregnant woman was served a cleansing solution at a McDonald's in Lethbridge city of Canada, media reports said.
Sarah Douglas had ordered coffee latte.
When Douglas took a sip, she got cleansing solution in her mouth.
After she approached the staff of the restaurant, they found the machine pumping out lattes was still attached to cleaning solution instead of coffee.
Describing the incident to CTV Calgary, Douglas said after taking the sip, her tongue "felt fuzzy and my mouth felt almost numb".
The franchise has apologised to Douglas, who was told if she feels breathlessness then she must visit hospital.
