Iraq: Bomb blast in Diyala leaves one civilian injured
Baghdad, Aug 27 (IBNS): A bomb blast hit Diyala area in Iraq and left one civilian wounded, media reports said on Tuesday.
“An explosive charge went off Tuesday at an agricultural land in al-Waqf basin, northeast of Baqubah, leaving a civilian wounded,” the source told Iraqi TV channel Mawazin News as reported by Iraqi News.
“The wounded civilian was moved to a nearby hospital for treatment,” added the source.
The country has witnessed violence ever since the Islamic State extremist militants proclaimed an “Islamic Caliphate” in Iraq and Syria in 2014.
