ISIS claims responsibility for Bangladesh mosque attack: SITE
Dhaka/ Washington, Nov 27 (IBNS) Militant group ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack on a Shi’ite mosque in Bangladesh’s Bogra district, US-based SITE Intelligence group said.
"The Islamic State (IS) claimed credit for the November 26, 2015 attack on a Shi’ite mosque in Bangladesh’s Bogra district," SITE said.
The attack occurred on Thursday.
Two people have been detained in connection with the incident.
Gunmen entered a Shia mosque in Shibganj upazila and opened fire on people praying inside it.
