Muhyiddin Yassin appointed as new Malaysian Prime Minister
Kuala Lumpur/UNI: Former Malaysian Home Minister Muhyiddin Yassin was appointed as the country's new Prime Minister on Saturday.
Malaysia's national palace said that King Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah has agreed with the appointment of Muhyiddin as the country's new PM.
He is scheduled to be sworn in on Sunday, succeeding Mahathir Mohamad, who abruptly resigned as Prime Minister on 24th February (Monday).
