Pakistan registers 4,757 new cases of COVID-19

Islamabad/UNI: Pakistan on Wednesday reported 4,757 fresh cases of novel coronavirus during the past 24 hours, pushing the country caseload to 6,03,126.

In the same period, 78 people lost their lives, soaring the death toll to 14,434.

Pakistan -- world's fifth most populous nation with near 22 crore people-- conducted 43,965 tests in the past one day. According to National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), the country has so far conducted 1,01,97,032 tests.
