Wana: Protesting against the Pakistan Army and the re-emergence of terror groups, demonstrators participated in a Pashtun unity march in Wana region of south Waziristan on Sunday, media reports said.

'Pashtun Long March' is a protest movement led by young Pashtuns from the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), where they have long been the targets of military operations, internal displacement, ethnic stereotyping and abductions by the security forces, reports ANI.

Nargis Afsheen Khattak, an activist of Pashtun Tahafuz Movement, tweeted: "Congratulations to all on the successful meeting of PTM Wana South Waziristan."

The political party Pashtun Tahafuz Movement had called for the meeting.
