Toronto, Nov 1 (IBNS): Pride Toronto announced on Wednesday the official dates of its 38th annual Pride Festival scheduled to take place between June 22 and 24, 2018.

Toronto’s third annual Pride Month will start from June 1 with the flag raising ceremony at City Hall.

Pride Month 2018 will see the return of long-standing hallmarks of Pride, including the street fair, pride parade, Dyke march and the world’s largest Trans pride march.

In addition, there will be a full slate of cultural and affiliate events, human rights panels, community and festival stages and more.

Pride Toronto Executive Director, Olivia Nuamah said: “Pride Month 2018 will celebrate and empower Toronto’s vibrant and creative LGBTQ+ communities in unique and exciting ways.”

“With the help of our business and community partners, we’re planning new stages, new activations and new events that will grow the festival and create spaces for all members of our community to come together, be proud, and have fun” Nuamah added.

Advance registration for both the Pride Parade and Streetfair will be available on pridetoronto.com starting this week.

Pride Toronto is a not-for- profit organization with a mission to bring people together to celebrate the history, courage and diversity of our community.
