Sri Lanka: 32 school children hurt as bus hits tree
Colombo: At least 32 school children were hurt when the vehicle in which they were travelling crashed into a tree in Walasmulla in southern Sri Lanka on Friday, media reports said.
Police told Xinhua news agency the accident, caused by a brake failure, took place while the students were returning from an educational trip.
Local residents rushed the injured children to Walasmulla hospital.
