Syria conflict: Image of injured boy goes viral, receives shocked expressions

Aleppo, Aug 18 (IBNS): The haunting image of a 5-year-old boy rescued from the rubble after a devastating airstrike in Syria's Aleppo has gone viral and drew outrage in social media.

The image, released by Syrian activists, shows the kid, identified as Omran Daqneesh, bleeding and soot-covered.

The image has brought to limelight the condition of the war-ravaged country.

The boy is sen sitting dazed in an ambulance.

The photo has received many shocking expressions and outrage.

Omran was treated for head wounds on Wednesday night, media reports said.

According to reports, his parents and three siblings have survived the attack.

Tension has escalated in Aleppo as the fight between the government and rebel forces has intensified in recent weeks in Aleppo leaving hundreds dead.
