Toronto, July 22 (IBNS): A commemoration ceremony was held yesterday at Greektown’s Withrow Park, Toronto to mark the anniversary of the shooting in Toronto’s Danforth which had taken the lives of 18-year-old Reese Fallon and 10-year-old Julianna Kozis, and injured 13 others, media reports said.

Faisal Hussain had walked through the neighbourhood on July 22, 2018, shooting at people on the street, on patios and in restaurants.

Rows of chairs in front of the stage and the surrounding grass were filled with several hundred people including friends and family of the victims, as well as survivors, Danforth residents, first responders, politicians and others.

A community vigil would be held tonight at 8:51 p.m. ET.  at Alexander the Great Parkette, at the northeast corner of Logan and Danforth avenues.
